Washington, D. C. - The Republican Majority Campaign has begun a search for conservative bloggers, authors, journalists and editorial writers its Treasurer, Randy Goodwin, announced today.

The political action committee began rebuilding its flagship site http://rmcpac.com in early May, 2009 and in July, 2009 received more than 170,000 hits on the site.

Conservative Authors Wanted

The process each candidate must complete is pretty simple, Goodwin indicated.  These are the steps:

1.     Register as a New User and then check your email client inbox for a verification message.

2.     Using the embedded link in the verification email, return to the RMC PAC site, login using your personal credentials, and complete your "My Homepage" information which is in format very close to what you might encounter on social networking sites such as Facebook or MySpace, completing all of the items requested in the following TABS:

A.  "Account" - This login information can be changed at any time except your selected user name

B.  "Basic Information" and "Contact Information" will be used to allow RMC to maintain contact with its authors.

C.  "Education & Work" and "Personal Information" TABS must be completed as fully as possible including links to any published work.

D.  Finally, the "Name and Address" section must be completed with verifiable information.

3.   At that point, RMC Staff will be informed of your submission and will be in contact with you within 48 hours.  After the initial 48-hour interview, all submitted information will be thoroughly.

4.  Conservative authors from any country are invited to write for RMC.

The following categories of writers are needed and a single person may fill any, or all, roles.  Nevertheless, a bright line must be drawn between the content for RMC's three major sections of "Viewpoints", "News" and "Blogs".  Viewpoints are position statements typically adopted by RMC as policy or with which RMC is in general agreement.  News reports must be 100% factual and all facts must have verifiable support provided by the author at the time of submission.  Blog entries can be pure opinion - so long as this is clearly indicated - but any statement of fact must have a verifiable link to an independent source.

There is no pre-conceived level of education or experience required to be involved with RMC authorship - just the desire to have your opinion read around the world.
